Trustee #2 is a part-time elected voting member of the Executive Board.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Elected Board Member & Governance: Serves a two-year term following election at the regular spring election in even-numbered years. Participates as a voting member of the Board of Trustees to oversee village governance, enact local laws, and ensure that village ordinances are faithfully obeyed.
  • Water & Wastewater Oversight: Appointed by the Village Board to manage and supervise the village’s water and wastewater utility operations, infrastructure, and service agreements.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Prepares, files, and submits the annual Compliance Maintenance Annual Report (CMAR) to state regulatory authorities.
  • Infrastructure & Facility Maintenance: Oversees lift stations, emergency generators, and power upgrades, including maintenance and pump rebuilds for facilities like the Lighthouse Drive lift station.
  • Environmental & Water Quality Monitoring: Monitors local water conditions and posts water quality signage at the North Bay beach as needed during summer months or following heavy rainfall.
  • Planning Commission: Serves automatically on the Planning Commission.
  • Board of Review: Serves automatically on the Board of Review.
